Suspects run after taking cash from register at Baja Taco in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A couple of brazen suspects decided it would be a good idea to steal cash from the register at the Baja Taco in Victorville on Saturday afternoon.
It happened at about 1:45 pm when a young male and female wearing hooded sweatshirts walked inside the restaurant in the 13300 block of Bear Valley Road, ordered a can of soda and paid for it.
As the employee opened the register, a male suspect wearing a black and white hoodie reached over the counter and grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
An employee attempted to chase after the suspects as they fled the Stater Brothers shopping center and into a nearby neighborhood.
No injuries were reported. If you have any information or can identify the suspects in the surveillance photos you are asked to call the Victorville Police Department at 760-241-2911.
