Suspect Still At Large After Monday Night Armed Robbery

HESPERIA-(VVNG.com):  Deputies are still searching for the suspect involved in a Monday night  robbery on Bear Valley Road and Cypress Avenue. Authorities said that the victim was walking in the area at about 8:30 PM, when an unknown black man approached him from behind.

The suspect, an approximately 20-year-old male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and armed with a handgun demanded his wallet then fled on foot eastbound on Bear Valley Road.

Uninjured but shaken up by what just happened, the victim went into the Dr. Mike’s walk-in clinic and asked the staff to call 911. Deputies from the Hesperia Station responded to the call and requested the assistance of a sheriff’s helicopter, but were unable to locate the suspect.
