Suspect at Large After Crashing Stolen Truck in Phelan

PHELAN-(VVNG.com):  Just before 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 the California Highway Patrol and deputies from the Victor Valley Station were dispatched to a single-vehicle traffic collision in the area of Braceo and Mesa Streets in Phelan. The vehicle occupants were gone when deputies arrived and the vehicle, a gray Nissan Frontier was determined to be stolen. “The vehicle slid off the ditch and got stuck,” said Victor Valley Station, Sgt. Pratt.

Deputies, along with the CHP set up a perimeter to search for the unknown suspect. There is no information available as far as the suspect description at this time. The search was called off and the suspect is still at large.
