Man arrested for vehicle burglary in Hesperia after witness records him

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Patrick Seville, 27, was arrested for vehicle burglary after a witness recorded him attempting to break into a car in a shopping center.
It happened at about 10:38 am on July 28, 2019, when deputies responded to a call about a male trying to get into a vehicle in the parking lot of the Vallarta Supermarket in the 17300 block of Main Street.
Sheriff’s spokesman Edgar Moran said deputies found a white male adult matching the description of the subject in front of the Dollar Tree and detained him.
“Through investigation, and video surveillance supplied by a witness, they learned the suspect, Patrick Seville, was seen by the witness inside of a vehicle in the parking lot, Seville was shuffling through various items inside the vehicle,” stated Moran.
Moran said the witness then started to record Seville as he was inside of the vehicle.
“The registered owner of the vehicle was located and confirmed that he did not know who Seville was and he did not have permission to be inside nor drive his vehicle,” stated Moran.
Seville was arrested and booked into High Desert Detention Center for PC496(d).
