Hesperia police arrest suspect after pursuit in stolen vehicle

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Hesperia police arrested a suspect after leading deputies on a pursuit Sunday afternoon in a stolen car.
At about 5:19 pm, a deputy in the area Main Street and Keypointe Drive initiated a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle and the driver failed to yield, officials said.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Cindy Bachman said the driver stopped on Arrowhead Lake Road and Highway 173 and the driver, Alan Quintard, 25, of Victorville, was arrested.
Quintard was booked into the Adelanto Detention Center and charged with VC 2800.2 Evading a Police Officer and PC496D(A) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. He’s currently being held in lieu of a $100,000 bail and is scheduled for arraignment in a Victorville courtroom on January 8, 2019.
Bachman said she had no further information available for release.
