Subway on Palmdale Road in Victorville burglarized; safe stolen

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — An unknown suspect, or suspects broke into the Subway early Wednesday morning, stealing a safe from the business, officials said.
It happened on September 18, 2019, at the Subway in the 15300 block of Palmdale Road in Victorville.
According to sheriffs spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez, at about 2:40 am sheriff’s dispatch was contacted by an alarm company for the restaurant, reference a motion alarm at the business.
“Upon arrival, deputies discovered the front glass door had been broken. The suspect(s) were able to remove a safe from the store prior to deputies arrival. There was an undisclosed amount of cash in the safe,” stated Rodriguez.
Officials said no arrests have been made and the investigation is on-going. Anyone with information regarding this burglary is asked to call the Victorville Police Department at 760-241-2911.
