Student Airlifted After Being Hit By Car

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- A University Preparatory Student was struck by a vehicle on Thursday, September 10, 2015 just outside the school campus located on the 13000 block of Seneca Road, in Victorville.
Per scanner traffic, the young male student sustained a head abrasion and it appeared to “look pretty bad.”
The students were just getting out of school, when the vehicle struck the pedestrian in a designated pedestrian crossing just after 2:00 p.m.
The speed of the vehicle was not immediately known.
An airship was requested to transport the 12-year-old male to a trauma center. The designated landing zone was established at Hook Park.
The Principal Valerie Hatcher declined to comment on the incident, but was on scene with the patient.
