
(VVNG.com)- The Victor Valley is under a wind advisory today until midnight. At approximately 5:00 P.M., the winds came whipping through the area knocking down trees.
According to WeatherUndergroun.com, winds are expected to increase this evening and diminish late tonight after midnight.
Gust are expected to bring west to northwest 20 to 30 mph winds with gusts to 45 mph and increasing to 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph this evening. Isolated gusts to 65 mph along the foothill slopes and passes.
Visibility is expected to be reduced at times to one mile or less due to blowing dust and sand.
The strong winds will make driving difficult for high-profile vehicles and could cause travel disruptions. Use extra caution.
