Still no arrests for weekend shooting in Spring Valley Lake

Detectives Seek Public's Help in Identifying Shooting Suspects

SPRING VALLEY LAKE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Police have no suspect(s) in custody following a shooting in the Spring Valley Lake community Sunday night.

At around 8:30 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the area of Elmcroft Lane and Deauville Drive refrence multiple reports of gunfire heard in the area.

“When deputies arrived, they located approximately 9 bullet holes in the front wall and door of a house in the 12500 block of Elmcroft Lane,” stated sheriff’s officials in a Tuesday afternoon news release.

No injuries were reported by any occupants of the home or bystanders.

“Witnesses in the area reported seeing a white, newer model quad cab truck leaving the area at a high rate of speed immediately after the shooting, although it is not known if the vehicle was involved,” stated the release.

Sheriff’s officials don’t currently have any suspect information and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the shooting suspects.
