Steak ‘n Shake Rolls Out The Red Carpet

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- Unless you have lived or visited the east coast, chances are the name Steak ‘n Shake sounds more like a dance move than a restaurant. Although the name was derived from the use of grounded steaks and hand-made shakes, one bite of their tasty food will have anybody dancing with joy.
The restaurant had a warm opening on July 26 for their “VIP” family and friends night. The event kicked off with the City of Victorville Mayor Jim Cox honorably cutting the red ribbon, a traditional ritual to declare the building is ready for business.
Amongst the crowd was Victorville city council member Angela Valles, Victor Valley’s radio personality – Jimmer with Kat Country 100.7FM and Doug Robertson- Victorville’s City Manager, just to name a few.
The official opening date of the ‘classic dine in’ feel restaurant/drive-thru is set for Monday, July 28, 2014. With over 800 applicants that applied for the new business establishment, located at 12160 Mariposa Road, there is no doubt that there’s a local need for job creation in the High Desert. Out of those 800 applicants who applied, 150 were hired.
The new restaurant will open at 10am tomorrow morning and stay open 24 hours, 7 days a week, never closing. Breakfast is served daily from 12am to 11am, which includes all you can eat pancakes for only $3.99, and a weekday special happy hour from 2-4 p.m that offers half off regular priced shakes.
A new location is also expected to open in the next 6 months near Palmdale Road and Highway 395.
