Stalled Vehicle in Bypass Lanes Creates Major Backup

CAJON PASS:(VVNG.com)- A stalled out van in the bypass lane is causing a traffic nightmare for commuters making their way up to Victorville on this Sunday afternoon.

Per CHP logs, the incident was reported at 2:01 P.M., in the bypass lanes on the northbound 15 freeway north of state route 138.

Many people decided to exit their vehicles and make the best of it as they stood outside and waited in the 90 degree temperatures.

If you are heading down the hill don’t worry southbound traffic is “smooth sailing” all the way down the Cajon Pass.

As of 2:42 P.M., CHP logs showed the stalled vehicle had been removed from the freeway. Commuters are reporting traffic remains bumper to bumper beginning around Devore.
