
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) The public is invited to participate in an upcoming meeting regarding the ‘Raised Curb Median Project’ on State Route 18 in Victorville.
The project proposes to widen the roadway and to build a raised center median on SR-18 or more commonly known as Palmdale Road between Amargosa Road and Cobalt Road.
According to the Caltrans District 8 website, the project would widen the existing shoulder to 8′ and construct shoulder rumble strips.
The proposed construction schedule is set to begin in the fall of 2020 and end complete by fall of 2022, however, those dates are subject to change.
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be hosting the public meeting to get the public’s feedback on the project.
The meeting is planned for September 6, 2017, from 6:00 p.m., – 7:30 p.m., at the Victorville City Hall in Conference Room ‘D’.
