Southbound I-15 Closures Planned Near Cajon Pass For Weigh Station Project

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Drivers traveling southbound on Interstate 15 near the Cajon Pass should plan ahead for nighttime lane and ramp closures scheduled from Thursday, May 7, through Saturday morning, May 9, as part of the $25 million Cajon Weigh Station Relocation Project.

According to a written statement from Caltrans, construction crews will remove K-rail barriers and perform work behind the barriers between Ranchero Road and the Cajon Pass.

The project will relocate the southbound Cajon Weigh Station and Truck Safety Check Area in Cajon. The existing facility is closed.
