VICTORVILLE, Calif.(VVNG.com) — A 22-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint inside his car after agreeing to meet up with a man he met on social media, officials said.
It happened just before 9:00 pm on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, in the 14500 block of Palmdale Road in Victorville.
The victim met with the suspect (#1) in the parking lot of an apartment complex, where he got into the backseat of the victim’s car.
Two more male suspects got out of the car suspect #1 arrived in and approached the victim’s car.
“According to the victim, the suspects all brandished firearms and demanded all of his belongings. The victim was scared and gave the suspects his wallet and cell phone. The suspects got back into the vehicle they arrived in, where a fourth person was waiting and drove away from the location,” stated sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez.
The suspects, described as three Black males and the vehicle they were in were not located. The vehicle was described as a tan, early 2000’s Nissan Sentra.
The 1st suspect was wearing all black clothing and a black beanie. The 2nd and 3rd suspects were wearing a grey hoodie, black pants, and a beanie. There was no description provided for the 4th suspect, who was the driver.
The victim was not injured and nothing further details were available for release.
