Six Suspects Arrested in the Murder of Barstow Man

BARSTOW:( Authorities announced that a total of six suspects have been arrested for their involvement in the murder of 53-year-old Nabil Nazir Attia Shehata.

The family of Mr. Shehata had reported him missing to the Barstow Police Department on October 12, 2015.

Deputies located Mr. Shehata deceased in the area of Fern Drive and Old State Highway 58 in Barstow on Monday October 19, 2015.

According to the press release, all six of the suspects are from Barstow and all face a variety of charges ranging from accessory to murder, conspiracy, kidnapping, robbery and murder.

The suspects have been identified as 20-year-old Bruce Fuller, 21-year-old Inor Robinson, 25-year-old Dmorrion Holmes, 21-year-old Michael Phillips, 24-year-old Tanisha Brittany Anthony, and 19-year-old Klonie Karmel Steele McNeese.

On Monday, October 19, 2015, officers from the Barstow Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle they had prior knowledge belonged to the victim, Nabil Shehata.

Upon contact with the occupants, later identified as suspects Bruce Fuller and Inor Robinson, the vehicle was confirmed to belong to the victim. Bruce Fuller and Inor Robinson were detained and turned over to investigators with the Sheriff’s Department Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail. Fuller and Robinson were interviewed and subsequently arrested on October 20th, transported and booked into jail.

On Tuesday, October 20, 2015, suspects Dmorrion Holmes, Michael Phillips, Tanisha Anthony and Klonie McNeese were located in Barstow and arrested on October 21st without incident and transported and booked into jail.

The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available for release at this time.
