Six Arrested in Hesperia Drug Bust: Parents Admit to Drug Use with Child

HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): Six were arrested in Hesperia after San Bernardino County Deputies from the Hesperia station accidentally locating a THC lab located at 11224 4th Avenue. The discovery was made after deputies received a report that a phone stolen from Knotts Berry Farm that the owner of the phone was able to track the phone to the Hesperia residence.

Deputies arrived at the location where they made contact with 39-year-old, Bobby Turner, a known parolee that was in possession of hypodermic needles and methamphetamine. Deputies next made contact with 49-year-old Stacey Shelton, the owner of the home and she admitted to taking the cell phone. .

While in the residence deputies discovered the THC extraction lab inside the home. Investigators from the Sheriff’s Marijuana Enforcement Team arrived and executed a search warrant at the location. The victim’s stolen phone was recovered along with evidence to show a THC lab was in place and operative. Marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was also found.

The THC extraction process is extremely dangerous and has a high potential for explosion due to the use of large amounts of flammable chemicals during the extraction process. This chemical process is illegal and is a violation of California’s Health & Safety Code.

Marijuana was located in the bedroom of the 13-year-old child of Stacey and Michael Shelton. The two admitted to smoking marijuana with this child on numerous occasions.

Stacey Shelton, of Hesperia was arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance, child endangerment, possession of Methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked into West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga in lieu of $110,000 bail.

Michael Shelton, of Hesperia was arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance, child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $510,000. They are scheduled to appear in the Victorville Superior Court on Wednesday, May 27th for an arraignment hearing.

Michael Walker, of Hesperia was arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance, and child endangerment. He was booked into High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto and is being held in lieu of $517500. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday, May 26th and Wednesday, May 27th for arraignment hearings.

Bobby Turner, of Hesperia  was arrested for possession of Methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Turner was booked into the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto and is being held in lieu of $8500. He is scheduled to appear in the Victorville Superior Court on Wednesday, May 27th for an arraignment hearing.

Dina Gorman, of Rancho Cucamonga was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Michael Funderburg, of Rancho Cucamonga was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. There is no arrest or court information available for Gorman and Funderburg at this time.
