Search Warrant Leads to Three Arrest

A news release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Departments describes that on Wednesday, August 13, 2013 at approximately 9:09 p.m.,

“Hesperia Deputy Jody Watson was dispatched to a report of a possible stolen vehicle at a residence in the 18000 block of Fairburn Street. Upon arrival Deputy Watson located the vehicle and verified it had been stolen out of Apple Valley on August 2, 2013.

Deputy Watson secured a search warrant for the residence and with the assistance of fellow Deputy Greg Gary, located a stolen semi-automatic assault rifle. A female resident, identified as Felicia Nelson, was determined to be on felony probation. The male resident, later identified as Raymond Prieto, was not at the location.

Deputy Watson secured an arrest warrant for Prieto and returned to the residence on August 17, 2013 at 4:30 a.m. He located Prieto and a female identified as Vickie Smith, both were arrested without incident.

Felicia Nelson was booked at the Victor Valley Jail for PC496d(a), possession of stolen vehicle, her bail was set at $50,000.

Raymond Prieto was booked at the Victor Valley Jail for PC29800(a)(1), felon in possession of firearm; PC496(a), possession of stolen property and is being held on $100,000 bail.

Vicki Smith was arrested and booked at the Victor Valley Jail for PC496(a), possession of stolen property and is being held on $25,000 bail. The stolen vehicle and firearm were recovered.
