On Sept. 8, 2013 local business owner and VVNG member Chad Scully of Scully’s Haircut’s passed away at the age of 41 after suffering what is believed to be a brain aneurism.
Chad’s wife, his parents, sister, and in laws were by his side when he was removed from life support early Sunday morning.
Scully was born and raised in Apple Valley and operated the family owned business alongside his father, George. He is survived by his wife Sophia Scully and his two young daughters, Stevie and Layla.
“My brother was an amazing person. My family is numb and in shock. Sophia and the girls are struggling… Pray for my family,” stated Chad’s sister Shannon Morris.
Tracy Nestle, a VVNG member had just visited the shop this weekend, “My husband and son just got their hair cut Saturday by Chad and Sophia and everything seemed fine. This shows us how things can change in an instant,” commented Nestle.
As most of you might know the expense of a funeral can be an overwhelming experience, especially when it is unexpected. Lets all come together as friends, family, co workers, classmates and community by taking some of this burden off of Sophia, the wife of Chad Scully. There is no set amount you would need to donate, just give what you can. I am sure anything will help. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family!! To donate please follow the link.
