SBCoFD taking extra precautions during coronavirus pandemic

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — San Bernardino County Fire crews continue to be fully staffed, fully equipped and ready to answer any call.

County fire said crews will continue to provide premier service however our crews will be wearing additional personal protective equipment (PPE) until further notice.

“Out of an abundance of caution, our crews will respond to medical calls wearing medical examination gloves, a protective mask and a gown or suit. The added personal protective equipment will provide additional protection to the public, patient and first responders,” stated County Fire in a Facebook post.

Don’t be alarmed by county fire’s response and personal protective equipment, it’s purely precautionary to limit the COVID-19 spread and to keep our communities safe and healthy.
