SB I-15 traffic jammed after crash near Main Street

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Southbound traffic on the I-15 freeway through the Victor Valley is experiencing delays after a single-vehicle crash here Tuesday.
It happened at 1:15 pm, on the southbound side, just north of the Main Street Bridge in Hesperia.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident logs, the vehicle almost hit the back of a truck and the driver overcorrected the car causing it to leave traffic lanes and crash down an embankment along Amargosa Road.
The driver was able to exit the vehicle and was seen sitting down next to it.
Southbound traffic on the SB I-15 is jammed from about the Bear Valley bridge as a result of the accident.
The official cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Victorville CHP office.
