DEEP CREEK – (VVNG.com): On the evening of Friday, October 17th at approximately 8:20 p.m., dispatch received a report from a male subject reporting that he had just been assaulted in the area of Deep Creek Road in Apple Valley. The victim was off roading near the Deep Creek Spillway when two males assaulted him.
The victim sustained a broken nose and a bump on the back of his head in the altercation. He was transported by ground ambulance to Victor Valley Hospital for treatment. The victim was able to give a suspect description, however he was unable to identify anyone in the area as suspects.
The victims wife updated Victor Valley News Group with the following, “Thank you everyone for your prayers. My husband is okay. He has a broken nose, jaw & a concussion.”
Information will be updated as received. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
