SAN BERNARDINO-(VVNG.com): On Tuesday, October 27th, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Specialized Investigations Unit, Homicide Detail received an award for their innovative work in the investigation of the McStay Family.
“It is truly an honor to receive this award in recognition of the exemplary work done by the Specialized Investigations Division, Homicide Detail,” stated Sheriff John McMahon. “The award recognizes the hard work and endless hours of dedication to bring the investigation to a conclusion for the family,” he added.
The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and Thomson Reuters presented San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon, Lieutenant Chris Fisher, and Sergeant Edward Bachman with the 2015 IACP/Thomson Reuters Award for Excellence in Criminal Investigation. The award is given yearly to award innovation and excellence in the area of criminal investigations.
