Roll-Em-Up Taquitos in Victorville closes amid supply issues; company facing broader challenges
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Roll-Em-Up Taquitos restaurant in Victorville has closed its doors, and the future of the location remains unclear as the fast-casual taquito chain faces growing signs of financial strain.
Located at 11604 Amargosa Road, the Victorville location opened in August 2021 as part of the company’s push to rapidly expand across California.
At the time, Roll-Em-Up had set an ambitious goal to sell 500 franchise units by the end of 2022. Today, only 13 locations are listed on the company’s website.
VVNG visited the Victorville site this week and found a handwritten sign on the front door reading “Closed For Today Sorry!!”

The entrance was padlocked, and no staff were visible inside. The dining room appeared intact with tables and chairs still in place.

A former employee told VVNG that the restaurant initially shut down on April 2, 2025, due to lack of food and delayed shipments. “The owners and general manager told me they were shutting down the place on the 15th,” the employee said.
They noted that the restaurant had been operating with a skeleton crew of eight employees in the weeks leading up to the closure.
AÂ City of Victorville citation dated April 16Â was also posted on the entrance, citing the business for failure to maintain proper FOG (fats, oils, and grease) records and failing to make required repairs.

VVNG contacted a separate Roll-Em-Up location in Corona, where staff confirmed that several franchise locations have recently closed, citing performance issues.

Each Roll-Em-Up Taquitos restaurant operates independently under franchise agreements.
In a related development, Roll-Em-Up Taquitos and its CEO Ryan Usrey are facing lawsuits alleging financial trouble.
According to a January 2025 article by Restaurant Business, the company was sued for failing to make payments on a $415,000 Ferrari that was purchased in the company’s name. A separate lawsuit accuses the franchisor of breach of contract involving a Las Vegas store buyback.
The Victorville store’s future remains uncertain, and no official comment has been issued by the company or franchise owner at this time.
