ADELANTO, Calif. – Early stages of new construction in the City of Adelanto are currently underway and could impact the motoring public.
Industrial Integrity Solutions has plans to build six industrial buildings, requiring the developer to deliver electrical power from the sub-station located at Delicious Street and Lawson Avenue to the new project area, which is located on the northwest corner of Yucca Road and Raccoon Avenue.
The work will ultimately provide power to the new structures and take place in stages, requiring intermittent road and lane closures.
Work is currently taking place in two locations on Air Expressway; the first is at Delicious Street from Lawson Avenue to Air Expressway, which is scheduled to be complete by mid-week; flagmen and signage are present during construction hours to assist drivers.
Work is also currently taking place at Air Expressway from Delicious Street to Bellflower Street and scheduled to wrap up by the second week in March. Lanes should remain open in both directions with intermittent lane closures. Traffic control is in place with residents and businesses having access throughout the construction; flagmen and signage are present during project work hours.
The third stage will take place the first week of March at Raccoon Avenue at Joshua Avenue, requiring a progressing single lane closure as the project crosses Raccoon Avenue from east to west. Residents will have full access at all times; flagmen and signage will also be present during construction hours.
Drivers are asked to pay special attention when traveling through construction zones and obey road crews and signage.
