Reward offered for stolen catalytic converters out of Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. ( A local commercial management company, Preston-Lee Management,  is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for stealing catalytic converters from its tenants’ vehicles.

Their tenants, Terminex and Bear Valley Party Rentals, both noticed one of their company’s trucks was not running normal. After a further inspection of the vehicles, they noticed that the catalytic converters had been sawed off and removed.

According to a representative of the commercial real estate company, surveillance footage shows a male driver of a sedan driving onto the property and parking next to a Terminix truck. The male then opens his door and rolls under the box truck.

Shortly after cutting the catalytic converter using a hand-held power saw, he then parked next to Bear Valley Party Rentals truck and began to saw off their catalytic converters.

This isn’t the first time that criminals have targeted their businesses.

“The week before, two guys cut into our gas lines under two trucks and siphoned gas and left their hoses hanging out from under the trucks. This is getting really frustrating,” expressed an owner of one the businesses.

Photos captured by surveillance cameras on the property is being released showing a clear image of the suspect’s vehicle. The $500 reward is being offered in an attempt to identify and convict the involved person and to deter any future thefts.
