Reports of Vehicle to Vehicle Shooting Prompts Investigation

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): At around 11:37 a.m. on Saturday, April 16th deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the El Evado Road and Hook Boulevard intersection for a report of a vehicle to vehicle shooting.
The reporting party told dispatchers that a smaller size black SUV and a full-size white SUV were heading north on El Evado when they began shooting at each other. A second reporting party described the vehicles as black Chrysler 300 and a full-size white SUV.
El Evado was closed in both directions just south of Hook Boulevard at 12:00 p.m. so deputies could search for shell casings in the area. A bullet hole was found through the front door of a business located in the small strip mall located at 14890 El Evado Road.
A white Chevy Tahoe was stopped at Mojave Drive and El Evado Road just before 12:00 p.m., it is unclear if this vehicle was found to be related to the shooting.
All local hospitals were notified to alert authorities of any gunshot wound victims. As of 1:00 p.m. Saturday, no injuries have been reported . This story is developing and more information will be updated as it is received.
