Redlands police searching for man who grabbed an 8-year-old girl’s chest inside Target

REDLANDS, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Redlands Police Department is asking for the public to help identify a suspect who allegedly grabbed the chest of an 8-year-old girl inside of a Target.

It happened on Friday, September 6, 2019, inside the Target store at 27320 W. Lugonia Avenue in Redlands.

According to a news release, at about 7:24 pm the unidentified male entered the store and went directly to the toy section, officials said.

“The suspect contacted an 8-year-old female victim and spoke with her briefly. The suspect then approached the victim from behind and grabbed her chest area,” stated the release.

Officials said the victim’s mother confronted the suspect who denied inappropriate behavior and walked away and immediately left the business.

The male fled in a 2003-2007 model year Honda Accord 4-door passenger car with unknown plate. The suspect is unknown and outstanding at this time.
