Hesperia, Calif. (VVNG.com) – Intermittent lane closures will occur on Eastbound Ranchero Road at Maple and Seventh Avenues in Hesperia from Oct. 24 through Oct. 26 between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. while crews install traffic signals.
The Ranchero Road Widening Project is progressing steadily, bringing significant improvements to the transportation infrastructure in the area.
As part of this ongoing project, several important updates and changes have recently been implemented, aimed at facilitating better traffic flow and enhancing road safety.

To ensure smooth progress and uninterrupted movement, a new traffic pattern has been put into effect from Cataba Road to Royal View Lane. It is crucial for drivers to exercise caution and be mindful of the revised traffic regulations as they navigate this section of Ranchero Road.
One of the key aspects of the project involves the installation of new traffic signals and poles at 7th and Maple Avenues. This installation will contribute to better traffic management and improved safety for drivers and pedestrians alike. By introducing efficient traffic control measures, the project aims to enhance the overall commuting experience along this corridor.

Waterline relocation efforts are also in full swing, spanning the stretch between Topaz Avenue and Escondido Avenue. This essential aspect of the project involves the meticulous relocation of existing water lines to accommodate the widening work. The successful completion of this task will ensure a smooth continuation of the widening efforts and the seamless flow of utilities in the area.
Another significant aspect of the project includes the construction of culverts and paving from Escondido Avenue to the western end of the project limits. These vital infrastructure additions will help mitigate potential drainage issues and improve the longevity of the road, offering a more durable and resilient driving surface.

While the project progresses, it is inevitable that delays may occur. Construction zones demand increased caution and adherence to traffic signs, devices, and personnel instructions. Drivers are encouraged to remain patient and alert while traveling through the designated construction areas. Maintaining a safe speed and keeping a safe distance from other vehicles will contribute to a safer journey for everyone.
The Ranchero Road Widening Project holds the promise of a more efficient transportation network, benefiting both residents and visitors of Hesperia. The collaboration between construction crews, local authorities, and the community will undoubtedly lead to an improved quality of life and safer commuting experiences for all.

Remember, stay informed, drive responsibly, and obey all posted signs and instructions to ensure a smooth transition through the construction zone.
Please note that ongoing updates and changes may occur throughout the course of the project. Stay tuned for further announcements.
