Ranchero Road briefly shutdown after crash Wednesday

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Three people sustained minor injuries and one car flipped on its side in a Wednesday evening crash.

It happened just before 6:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Ranchero Road where 11th Avenue Intersects, directly in front of the California Aqueduct.

According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy, a Toyota Camry rear-ended a Jeep as the Jeep was waiting for a white truck to make a left turn onto 11th Avenue.

The force of the collision caused the Jeep to overturn on its side and in the process struck the white truck.

One person from the Jeep required minor extrication. Three people sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the crash.

East and westbound lanes were briefly closed while authorities investigated.

A tow truck arrived on scene at about 7:00 p.m. to remove the vehicles from the roadway.
