Quad Accident Kills 33-year-old Man on Mother’s Day

EL MIRAGE-(VVNG.com): A 33-year-old man died as a result of a single quad rollover collision on Mother’s Day, Sunday.
At around 6:09 a.m. dispatchers received a report of the quad accident in the El Mirage Dry Lake Off-Highway Recreation area located at 20471 Mountain View Road.
Per scanner traffic, the reporting party told dispatchers that the man was not breathing and had a head injury. Later as deputies and Medical personnel attempted to locate the victim, the reporting party told dispatchers that he believed the victim was deceased.
At around 6:27 a.m. the male victim was pronounced dead by a San Bernardino County Fire Department Medic. There were no other injuries reported as a result of this collision. The cause of the collision remains under investigation at this time.
The name of the deceased man will be withheld pending notification of next of kin by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy Coroner.
