APPLE VALLEY:(VVNG.com)-Powhatan Road will be closed to all traffic from Navajo Road to east of Pawnee Road beginning at 6 a.m. Tuesday, August 11 until 6 a.m. Thursday, August 13.
The closure will allow for the installation of drainage infrastructure across Powhatan Road.
A detour route will be available and in effect for the duration of the 48-hour closure. Access to nearby businesses will remain open.
In addition to the drainage work, the Town also pave Powhatan Road along the frontage of James Woody Park. The Town recently installed new sidewalks, curbs and gutters along that section of roadway.
