Power outage reported in Apple Valley affecting the Jess Ranch area

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Customers shopping at the Jess Ranch shopping center in Apple Valley are reporting a power outage.
Kevin Buchanan was shopping inside the Petsmart when the store went pitch black.
Kevin told VVNG customers were leaving the stores as every single business on the southside of Bear Valley were affected by the outage.
Denise Schroder Hayes reported the lights at Bear Valley and Jess Ranch Parkway were out.
Businesses including Applebee’s, 24 Hour Fitness and residents in the Jess Ranch community also reported outages.
According to the Southern California Edison outage map, 1496 customers are affected by the outage.
The cause of the outage is currently unknown be sure to check back for updates.
