Power Outage Leaves Nearly 2,000 Victorville Residents in the Dark

VICTORVILLE, Calif:(VVNG.com)- A widespread power outage has left nearly 2,000 people without power in Victorville Tuesday night.
The power outage was reported just before 8:00 p.m. on August 30th in the area between Mojave Drive, Hook Blvd., Amethyst Road and Cobalt Road.
According to Southern California Edison outage map, 1,853 customers are without power. The latest status update on the site says, “We are testing the lines to help limit the number of customers affected.”
SCE employees are parked next to a high voltage underground utility box on Hook Blvd. near Brucite Road. At this time it’s unclear if that is the source of the outage.
