Power Outage Impacts Nearly 2,000 Hesperia Residents

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) A crash Friday morning left hundreds of residents in Hesperia without electricity.

The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. near Hesperia Road and Eucalyptus Street in Hesperia.

For reasons still unknown, a UPS truck knocked down a power pole and became entangled in the lines.

According to SCE, approximately 1,948 customers were affected by the outage.

Per scanner reports, SCE employees will be in the area working on repairs for 4-5 hours.

There’s currently no information on when service will be restored.

As of 12:20 p.m. some residents have reported having power.
