Police Still Searching for Victorville Stabbing Suspect

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- Authorities are continuing to search for a suspect involved in a stabbing.
At 10:39 pm. on Wednesday, June 15th dispatch received a report of a man being stabbed in the area of Luna Road and Cartagena Street in Victorville.
According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez, “the suspect went to a friend’s house and at some point the two got into an altercation, resulting in the victim being stabbed”.
A Sheriff’s helicopter was called in to assist ground deputies with the search for the suspect. Deputies from the Victorville station, assisted by deputies from the Victor Valley station conducted an intense search but were unable to locate the suspect.
Per scanner traffic, the suspect was described as a Black male adult, approximately 20-years-old, wearing basketball shorts with no t-shirt.
The victim was flown to Loma Linda Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
