Police Seeking Driver in Hit-and-Run That Left Pedestrian Seriously Injured

APPLE VALLEY:(VVNG.com)- Authorities are searching for a vehicle that struck a pedestrian on Sunday night and left the severely injured male lying in the roadway.
At about 10:00 PM, a 23-year-old male was walking on Bear Valley Road crossing Kiowa Road when an SUV struck the pedestrian and took off.
The male was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Family told Victor Valley News, the victim is talking and and in stable condition.
“He has a few broken ribs, a broken arm, a few hair line fractures on his spine, broken hip and he had swelling to the brain”, said Robert Boyko.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer, with a male driver.
