Police seek boyfriend wanted for stabbing and beating Victorville woman

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Victorville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an attempted murder suspect wanted for stabbing a 24-year-old woman.

Albert Rivota, 25, of Adelanto, is on the run after he allegedly violently beat and stabbed his girlfriend numerous times, officials said.

It happened on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at about 7:26 pm, in the 16700 block of A Street in Victorville. Police responded to the area reference a domestic disturbance call.

When deputies arrived they found the victim had been beaten and stabbed several times by Rivota after a verbal argument.

“A witness, a good Samaritan, witnessed the violent attack and helped the victim from being beaten and stabbed any further,” stated sheriff’s officials.

The female victim was flown by air ambulance to a trauma center and is currently in stable condition.

Rivota fled the scene before the arrival of deputies. He is a Hispanic male, 5’7” tall, approximately 140 lbs, with black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue shorts and no shirt.
