Fontana Police Seeking Assistance In Identifying Suspect and Victim in Possible Abduction Case

UPDATE 8/16 @ 7PM – “Male suspect called the Fontana Police Department after seeing his picture on media outlets. Fontana Detectives are on scene with both the male and female in the Fontana area and are investigating a domestic violence case. More information will be provided as it is available,” stated sheriff’s officials.

FONTANA, Calif. (VVNG.com) Police believe a woman was kidnapped in Fontana and they are asking for the public’s help.

On August 16th many concerned citizens contacted 911 and reported a Hispanic female adult being attacked and possibly abducted by a Black male adult, officials said.

At about 1:34 pm, police responded to the area of Sierra and San Bernardino Avenues in the City of Fontana.

“Witnesses observed the male suspect choke and force the female into the car. As the vehicle fled the female was seen hanging out of the window yelling for help,” officials said in a press release.

The vehicle involved is a 1996 white Chevrolet Suburban, California license plate # 3SBT684.

The male subject is described as a heavy set Black Male in his 30s-40s, wearing gray shorts and an orange construction type vest. The female is described as being a possibly Hispanic, in her 20-30s, wearing white pants, gray top with dark hair.
