Victorville police search for assailants who attacked a man with baseball bat

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Victorville police are searching for two assailants who brutally attacked a man with a baseball bat.

The attack in the area of Luna Road and Curtis Way was reported at 8:12 pm, Thursday, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer Olivia Bozek.

“A victim was attacked by two unknown subjects with a baseball bat,” stated Bozek.

According to a witness, she saw two males beating the victim with a bat before they fled the location in a black car.

“He was bleeding a lot from his head and losing consciousness. I believe they also broke his leg because he was screaming that it hurt when the firefighters were moving him,” stated the witness.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries and his condition remains unknown.

A description of the suspects was not available at the time of this article.
