Police Pursuit Ends in Rollover Crash in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif:(VVNG.com)- Victorville deputies were involved in a brief pursuit Saturday morning.
At about 12:40 a.m. on August 27th, a deputy patrolling the area spotted a lifted Toyota Tacoma Prerunner doing donuts in the parking lot of the Victorville fairgrounds.
The deputy attempted a traffic stop and that’s when the failure to yield initiated.
The truck exited the fairgrounds and continued onto 7th Street before making a right onto La Paz Drive towards Mariposa Road.
Deputies continued to pursue the vehicle through several streets at speeds of 60 mph. The pursuit terminated when the driver lost control of the truck and rolled over on Llanada Avenue east of Village Drive in Victorville.
The driver was taken into custody. At this time it’s unknown if he sustained any injuries during the crash.
