YUCCA VALLEY: Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted for a bank robbery in Yucca Valley.

According to a news release, on Monday, January 27, 2014, deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to the US Bank on the 57000 block of 29 Palms Hwy., following the report of a bank robbery.

Upon arrival, deputies were advised that an unknown white female adult walked into the US Bank and handed the teller a note saying this is a robbery.

The female demanded money, the teller complied and gave the female an undisclosed amount of US currency. The female suspect fled the bank in an unknown direction prior to deputies arrival.

US Bank has a reward program for up to $10,000.00 leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Detective Heidi Hague of the Morongo Basin Station (760) 355-4175. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are urged to contact the We-Tip Hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463)
