UPDATE: elderly woman identified

UPDATE @ 8:00 PM — Jane Doe has been identified and is returning to the Los Angeles area, where she lives, via the VVPD.

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who has been receiving care at a local hospital as a Jane Doe for over a week.

“The woman was in the area of Valley Center Drive and La Paz Drive on November 9, 2019, and transported by emergency medical personnel to a local area hospital,” Victorville Police Department’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez confirmed.

When she arrived at the hospital she was wearing a tag on her shirt with the name Annie Kim, however, deputies have been unable to confirm that is her name, officials confirmed.

“She remains confused and has not been able to provide medical personnel nor deputies with her name, age, or place of residence. She is 5’ tall, 115 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. She is wearing a purple shirt, a white vest jacket, and black pants,” Rodriguez wrote in a press release.

Anyone with information about the identity of this woman is asked to contact Deputy Z. Pritchett at the Victorville Police Department at (760) 241-2911 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760) 956-5001.
