HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Police are investigating a burglary at the Taco My Hacienda in Hesperia.
It happened on October 5, 2019, at 4:08 am, when sheriff’s dispatch received an alarm call from the business located on the 14300 block of Main Street.
Hesperia sheriff’s spokesman Edgar Moran said deputies responded and found the front window to the business was smashed. “The business was cleared and no subjects were found inside.”
According to Moran, “video surveillance showed a suspect, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a blue “Hollister” zip-up jacket, black pants, black shoes and gray gloves, break the front window of the business with a window punch; the subject then enters the business and takes a credit card reader valued at $1,600.00.”
Deputies conducted an area check for the suspect but were unable to locate. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Hesperia Police Department at 760-947-1500.
