Police investigating after person shot in Food 4 Less parking lot Saturday

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A person was shot in Victorville just after midnight Saturday morning and taken to a local hospital, Victorville police said.
Around 12:04 a.m., police received a call about a man down in the Food 4 Less parking lot on Bear Valley Road and 7th Avenue.
Officers arrived and found a man wounded from gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to a local hospital as emergency crews performed CPR on him.
Several members of the Victor Valley News Group on Facebook reported hearing about 7 gunshots followed by sirens.
A large portion of the shopping center parking lot near the 24 Hour Fitness was taped-off with sheriff’s crime scene tape. A piece of clothing and a pool of blood were also visible.
Police would not provide any victim or suspect information and did not say if any arrests have been made.
Authorities are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the crime to contact authorities.
