Police find meth lab in a storage unit next door to a Victorville school

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A meth lab found inside a storage unit next door to an elementary school in Victorville prompted a Hazardous Material response Thursday night.
It happened on February 20, 2020, at the Reliable Self Storage located in the 13700 block of Seneca Road, next door to the University Preparatory School.
Victorville City spokeswoman Sue Jones told VVNG, City firefighters responded to a reported potential meth lab at around 10:20 pm and found validated evidence of a lab.
Jones said a Hazmat team had been requested to assist with making entry and product screening. “This will require operations well into the night,” stated Jones.
A Hazmat truck from San Manuel Fire responded to assist Victorville City Fire with the incident.
This is a developing story and additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
