Police arrest Victorville transient on parole for masturbating in public

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Victorville police arrested, George Cockerham, a 66-year-old transient on parole after allegedly masturbating in public multiple times.
On February 17, 2020, Cockerham, stood outside a business on Amargosa and began masturbating while he looked inside the window where employees were working.
The following day, Cockerham displayed the same behavior outside another nearby business. Sheriff’s officials said after the February 18th incident, law enforcement was called but the suspect was not located.
On February 19, 2020, one of the victims spotted the suspect at a bus stop across from the business and again contacted law enforcement.
Deputies located Cockerham and took him into custody.
During the investigation, deputies discovered Cockerham is on active Parole with a controlling charge of indecent exposure with prior convictions. He was booked at High Desert Detention Center for indecent exposure and is scheduled to appear in court on February 21, 2020.
