Police arrest Rancho Cucamonga man driving stolen car in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Victorville police officers recovered a stolen vehicle and arrested the suspect identified as Sean Witte, 29, or Rancho Cucamonga for the crime.
At 1:23 pm, on April 11, 2018, Deputy D. Fratt spotted a green Honda Civic in the area of Mojave Drive, near 7th Street and conducted a records check on the vehicle. The plate came back to as a previously reported stolen to the Claremont Police Department on March 31, 2018.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the Honda in the area of Mojave Drive and Joshua Street. Sean Witte was detained without incident along with two other passengers in the vehicle. Witte was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for possession of a stolen vehicle.
The two passengers were released at the scene and the report will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s office, where any charges will be determined.
