Police arrest Phelan man, 28, attempting to sell stolen trailer online

PHELAN, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Police arrested a 28-year-old Phelan man after he allegedly tried to sell a stolen cargo trailer on the internet, officials said.

The suspect, Justin Antwan Jackson, was arrested on May 1, 2019, at his residence in the 4800 block of Dos Palmas in Phelan.

Sheriff’s officials said they received anonymous information that Jackson was attempting to sell a stolen cargo trailer on the internet.

At 7:00 am, Wednesday, deputies went to Jackson’s residence and could see the stolen cargo trailer in plain view sitting in the yard of the residence, officials said.

Deputies made contact with Jackson at his residence and he was arrested without incident.

Jackson was booked at the High Desert Detention Center where he was later released on bail. Jackson is due to appear in court on Tuesday, June 18th at 8:00 am.
