Playtex Recalls Playtex Pacifier Holder Clips

ATTENTION PARENTS: Playtex has issued a voluntary recall of the Playtex Pacifier Holder Clip, because the product can crack and a small part can break off which poses a choking hazard to small children. No reports of injury have been received.

According to the recall, the affected product is a plastic clip with a figure and a “Playtex” copyright mark secured by a ribbon with a pacifier clear plastic ring at the end. The pacifier holder was sold in green with a monkey figure, pink with a flower and blue with a tow truck. (The pacifier holders are identified by UPC number 7830005924.)

The company issued a statement via the website, “We are taking this action out of an abundance of caution, because the health and safety of the people who use our products is our top priority.”
