Phelan Commercial Structure a Complete Loss After Early Morning Fire

PHELAN-(VVNG.com): On Wednesday, November 4th at about 5:55 a.m. dispatch received a report of a commercial structure fire at 4120 Phelan Road.
When firefighters arrived they found an active fire in the center occupancy of the commercial structure. Firefighters went into offensive attack and were able to knock the fire down by 6:22 a.m.
San Bernardino County Fire Department Spokeswoman, Tracey Martinez said that the building was abandoned and there were no occupants. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire, but the building is believed to be a complete loss.
Per scanner traffic deputies reported that a local transient was currently staying in the property and firefighters believe the fire may have been a rubbish fire.
San Bernardino County Fire officials are still investigating and the cause is yet to be determined.
